In hunger strike unlimited in the prisons of Morocco

Black prison of El-Ayoune - the Western Sahara:
Sunday September 23, 2006, the Sahrawi political prisoner, ELGASMI Mohamed Lahbib, lost consciousness following a degradation of his health and suffers from the atrocious pains on the level of the intestines and the stomach. ELGASMI was transferred towards the Belmehdi hospital, in El-Ayoune, where he spent the night without any improvement of his state. He was taken back to his cell the following day morning.
Sunday September 23, 2006, towards 15h GMT, the Sahrawi political prisoner, TOUBALI Elhafed, was transferred towards the same hospital, after having lost consciousness. TOUBALI suffers from continuous vomiting. In the same way, Sahrawi the political prisoner, DADI Hamada, was also transferred towards the same hospital, following a degradation of his health and suffers from the atrocious pains in the intestines and loses consciousness regularly. Towards 18h GMT of the same day, the Sahrawi political prisoner, HADDI Ahmed Mahmoud Elkainan, lost consciousness following an intensity of the pains on the level of the kidneys.
Penitentiary direction continuous to close its eyes in front of the aggravation of the health of the Sahrawi human rights defenders and political prisoners, who carry out, an unlimited hunger strike since September 04, 2006 and continues to refuse to answer their legitimate claims.
Local prison of Inezgane - Morocco:
The Sahrawi political prisoners, in this prison continue to defy the pains and the diseases while remaining attached to their claims and rights. In spite of the threats and the attempts of the penitentiary direction to convince them to cease the strike, these strikers continue their fight.
LOUMADI said, has been in coma for almost a week, at the hospital of Inezgane, because of the hunger strike which he carries out since last 07 August.

The health of the Sahrawi political prisoner, ELHASSAN Abdallah, continues to worsen without any attention on behalf of the penitentiary direction which continues to maintain its position of the refusal to answer the legitimate claims of this prisoner.
